What are Magic Mushrooms?

Magic Mushrooms are a type of wild mushroom that grows in lawns, fields, and forests. For centuries, people have used magic mushrooms to treat ailments, enhance mental and physical abilities, and connect with nature. We have a lot. We just recently started using modern science to study these sensory fungi.

Magic mushrooms are often called psilocybin mushrooms. They are usually brown or gray in color and have a slimy surface. Their name comes from the Greek word "silos", which means "awe" or "mushroom". The Greeks are believed to have used psilocybin mushrooms to predict the future. The Romans also used mushrooms to induce religious visions. They also used them to generate healing energies. Throughout history, mankind has used magic mushrooms for divination, healing, and expanding consciousness.

My first magic mushroom retreat experience

My first experience with magic mushrooms came at a music festival when I was 15 years old. I spent a few days in the woods after the festival and had the most profound mystical experience of my life. This experience set me on a path to work with altered states of consciousness and has informed many of my spiritual beliefs. For example, I now understand that our material reality is an illusion and that all is one- with or without spiritual knowledge.
